Properties: Colorless monocrystal crystal, usually appears offwhite, pink, yellowish or black because of impurity,
usually present as indiscerptible compact block with glass lustre, specific gravity: 2.9-3.0, melting point: 1000°C;
slight soluble in water, aqueous solution is acidic,
decompose to toxic hydrogen fluoride gas when meeting with sulfuric acid.
Uses: mainly used as a flux in the aluminium smelting by fused salt electrolysis;also an opalizer in the manufacture of enamel;
an opacifier and auxiliary solvent of glass and enamel;an insecticide of crops;a flux in aluminium alloy casting;
and in the production of ferrous alloy and effervescing steel.
Packing: woven bag lined with polyethylene bag, 25kg per bag, or as per buyer’s requirement.
Quality standard: [GB 4291-2007].
